My rear lights died!!

I replaced my license plate bulbs with LED 194's tonight. Everything was fine for about 10 minutes then all my rear bulbs went out. I tried fuse numbers 1 and 5 (10A) but they are fine. One of the 30A fuses looks a little off, but does anyone know for sure if there is one fuse that controls all these? The owners manual explains every other fuse except for the rear bulbs. Thanks.

Here are the 194's I used:

Two, plus my taillight bulbs are out. The brake lights still light up if you hit the brakes though, and everything else I checked still works (horn, locks, reverse lights, all interior lights etc.). If I don't figure out which fuse it is by tomorrow, it will have to go to the dealer! Help!!

It shouldn't be fuses 1 or 5. They are for back up lights (They light up when in reverse gear).

You mention that a 30A fuse looks "a little off". Which one is that?

I would start by checking fuse #28.

If that doesn't solve it then it's a one by one check of all fuses until you find it. Use a continuity tester if needed.

Recheck your LED bulb installation (possible short).

Hope that helps.

That would be wrong and I don't think that fuses are covered by warranty.

I had to take the wife's car to work today because of this, so I won't get to troubleshoot again until later tonight, but if I had to guess I would say that the 30A that looked different from all the rest was either the front wiper fuse (56) or ABS/VSA (58) because I remember the fan blower (57) kicking on during troubleshooting late last night. The fuse just....may always look different than the rest, I was getting desperate.

I'll check 28 tonight, I really hope that that's the right one, can anyone please confirm this? That would be great!!

If that's accurate, it would make things a lot easier if the manual included the fact that it's not just for "Headlight main" (as labeled), but also for "Tail light main"!! There are countless other fuse descriptions of which I'm assuming you must be a Honda certified technician to understand: ACG, LAF, IGP, STS.....with no mention anywhere in the owner's manual what any of it stands for......stupid!!

Thanks for the help thus far..

Edit: Wipers still work, so I'm not sure what's up with that fuse.....I'll do some more troubleshooting tonight to be sure that fuse is supposed to look the way it does.....I'll also swing by and pick up a couple 20A fuses (crossing fingers anticipating that #28 will be the culprit!).

Fuse #29 was it!!! Thank you HONDAMATIC!!!! FYI the manual states #29 is "Small light", this fuse controls the front and rear driving lights, and HONDAMATIC just saved me a trip to the dealer, thanks again for responding so quick!!

I ended up having to get the fuses from the dealer, called around to autozone, NAPA, etc. and know one had them! Paid $3.00 for two 10A fuses after tax, popped one in there and all is good with the world once again!
