I thought I had taken one with both standing at neutral... but oh well.
install took 30 mins including occasional swearing and dropped washer.
the throw is shortened, which was the desired effect.
oem is the one closest to me, mugen is the furthest.

How do you like it?and how much if you don't mind me asking. I ended up breaking the plastic joint piece on the side and I'm not sure if Honda has a replacement or if I would have to buy the whole assembly. Might have to return my t1r and get the mugen one if it's cheaper.

I installed mine a little over two weeks ago (I ordered the first day they were available). Not sure how much shorter it is, maybe an inch, but the throws are shorter still due to the change in leverage under the pivot. However, it's nowhere near as short as the short shifter on my STI, which is good, since it's really my wife's car and she feels the STI puts the gates a bit too close for her taste.
I had no real problems installing mine except that getting one of the cables off (the one that removes by twisting) was a bit of a pain, especially considering how sparse the instructions were compared to other OEM accessories I have installed on this car.
I have to say, I don't notice that it is short now, in fact I don't notice it at all which is a good thing. With the stock unit I felt like I was going to throw my shoulder out rowing that thing around... it was noticeably and painfully loooooong of shift.
So basically, I am REALLY happy with this mod. If you think you want shorter throws, get it... you'll be happy too.
...Is the boot I made for you too long now or does it look alright?
It still does its job as a boot.
i'm thinking of something else, but it is fairly far fetched...
