This could turn out to be a really slick device...

Garmin communicates with your car via ESP | SEMA show - CNET Reviews

A module plugs into the OBD2 port and communicates with the Nuvi via Bluetooth. It gives you the data readouts and code-clearing capability of something like a ScanGauge II but integrated into a navigation device. I assume some models will have BT phone pairing so it sounds like a pretty cool swiss army knife of a gadget.
