hey i was wondering if any of you guys have a kickin sound system? i bought my 09 fit (non-navigation) with the idea in mind that it was never going to be as fast as most cars so i would use it to cruise and look/sound good while doing it. the problem i have is with the stock stereo. do any of you have pictures of an aftermarket head unit? does it have to be double din as to not look goofey? i would like to get some idea as to how it would look and what unit you guys use. this will be my first upgrade so any advice is welcome. thanks

 

I recommend a CD player replacement and replace the stock speakers. Amplification is something you should either already know you want/need or determine that after installing the new speakers. Installing new cd player and speakers is much easier than adding an amplifier and then running wire to all those speakers. You can see on my post in the ICE section I have new front components, new CD player, subs and two different amps.

 

thanks for the advice i already have a hertz EP4 amp that i salvaged from my old car and i got a nice component set and coaxials for the back but i just needed help with the head unit. i didnt want to get rid of it because i didnt think anything else would look right but now ive seen some nice sound systems so im gonna save a little more and go the double did route.
