Dinged Resonator

Hi Guys

So I dinged what i believe to be the resonator on my exhaust as pictured below on my GE6, and i'm wondering what the repercussions would be of me simply having that box deleted and have a pipe soldered into its place. I think in it's current state it may affect performance and fuel economy. Lemme know what you guys think.

Other than increased noise and possibly improved performance over an undamaged resonator/muffler I don't think there's a downside.

Have a look at this thread and perhaps PM the author, he may have more ideas on the subject.

You'll be fine just putting in straight pipe to replace it will make more noise that's about it
