That was the whole point right from the beginning - adding mp3 capability without pulling the HU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I did finish it without pulling the HU. In fact, now that I know I can get access to the back of the HU just by flipping the glove box down, I could likely have done it without pulling anything.
