Pandora?

Is Pandora available on the EX? I haven't looked into that, but with AM/FM/XM/iPod/USB, I doubt that I need it. Just wondering.

I have been using Pandora for the last 3 days since I got my EX. Cancelled Sirius and am finding Pandora more to my liking since I have greater control over the music that plays. I'm enjoying the Pandora feature a lot, although there are random issues with connectivity. It's intermittent so not a big deal to me.

This is probably not what you're meaning, and I'd guess you know this already, but you could run the Pandora app and stream it over Bluetooth. It may not give quite the full integration you're wanting but it's a fair way of accomplishing this.

Yes Pandora is available on the EX. You can control the app from the display in the dash via Bluetooth connectivity. You can also set the source to Bluetooth and the music will still stream, just the control of the app needs to be done on the phone. No issues with connectivity. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 running android 4.4.2

Wouldn't I be accumulating streaming/data time while Pandora is streaming? I have 2GB/month for two phones. anything more, and I pay.

Is there a Source choice for Pandora? I don't recall.

Streaming

Streaming music will use your cell data quickly. I use predownloaded music from my iTunes library on my phone and the radio for most stuff, and save streaming for road trips where I don't get good stations. I have unlimited, but if I approach 5 GB att will throttle my speed. I like podcasts, there are tons of music ones available, you can download to phone over wifi, then tell Siri to play one for you. I like Free for a price.

Has anyone had issues with the display not showing the artist/title when using Pandora? I could have sworn mine worked properly the first day I had it, and hasn't again since. I'm wondering if it's an issue with my version of Pandora or if it's something else.

Yes Pandora uses mobile data, I got a 4GB plan between two phones, so it can add up quickly. Plus the fact that depending on network demand Verizon will throttle your speed which is BS. That's why I support net neutrality.

No issues showing track and cover art on the head unit. latest Pandora app version. There may be a delay for it to appear, where it needs to refresh, but yea no issues so far.

If your display doesnt show artist/song info try choosing bluetooth then go back into Pandora. As for data yes it will use your data as you stream.

When I press the Source button, I don't have Pandora as a choice. Does that appear only if I have a subscription?
