JDM Honda 0W-8 Oil Used Oil Analysis in 2015 Fit

This is a used oil analysis that I've also posted over at BITOG. Long story short, Honda Ultra Next is an ultra-low-viscosity (likely falls in line with future 0W-8 classification) oil made for certain kei cars and newer Hondas in Japan. The new Fit's L15B engine is approved to run this oil in Japan. I have a friend in Japan who has the same car I do, and he sent me a 4L container of the stuff to test it out.

The first thing I did was a VOA with Blackstone which can be found here. It has a high moly count, is obviously very low viscosity, and has a pretty high viscosity index (191).

Then, I changed my oil at about 3800 miles ahead of a long road trip I was going to be taking. Filled up with Honda Ultra Next and the Honda A01 filter. I put on close to 2K miles here in California before driving to Iowa and back. I'd say the UOA reflects about 70% highway driving. Keep in mind that I also drive all of my cars hard, including the Fit, even if it is "just a Fit".

The following is a UOA on a sample taken from the oil when it had 5800 miles on it (MM at 50%). I thought it a good idea to take a sample semi-early in the interval to gauge how it was holding up.

Keep in mind when looking at the universal averages column that they seem to have filed this under L15A rather than L15B - it may be the case that they don't have enough/any samples on the new engine to have those averages yet.

Thoughts?

Before the change, I was probably averaging right in line with the EPA estimates. With the Ultra Next I'm seeing at least 35mpg on a tank on the low end, and most tanks are probably at least 50% city driving or more. Best tank was 45.58 mpg, but that was probably 70-80% highway.

Unfortunately it hasn't, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the future. But I don't even think the GE8s are approved to run the 0W-16 Honda Ultra Green yet IIRC.
