17" or 16" wheel
#3
My car lowered on Tein H-Tech springs, with Enkei RPF1 17×7 +43.
My car lowered on KYB Lowfer Sports KIT, with WORK Emotion 11R 16×6.5 +52. Reason for wheel change is due to rubbing issue at front after changing to KYB suspension.
Recommend to stay around 50 offset if you going to lower the car, or you will have chance to have rubbing issue.
Another way is to check with manufacturer's website. Look for matching data to see if the wheel is recommended to fit your car. For example: Enkei GTC01 http://www.enkei.co.jp/wheels/pdf/racing/gtc01_jp.pdf or WORK Wheels (Use Google Chrome to translate the website, then select your car manufacturer, model and type)
If your car is not listed, means it is not recommended for your car. Some manufacturer will add extra info for larger size wheels, for example: modification to fender required.

Also, your wheels choice + OEM 185/55R16 tires will end up almost the same location as when I had the RPF1 with 205/45R17.
To be safe and not wasting your money, or spending more to fix rubbing issue later. I would really suggest you look for something with around 50 offset.

Enkei EDR9 16" offset 45
This is what I put on mine. No rubbing whatsoever with 195/55 R16 tires and Swift springs.
I hate rubbing so this is why I chose that setup. If rubbing would not have been a consideration I would have put larger tires and wheels with a much lower offset. Unfortunately Honda didn't give us much space to play with so if you don't want rubbing, chose your wheels and tires wisely.
I post a picture of the initial car that made me want those wheels. They look better on a grey Honda sport coupe but they don't look too shabby on the Fit as well.
