Wheel/Tire suggestions
I have a 15' LX. Looking to upgrade to alloy rims and quality tires. Priorities are (in order): safety, fuel efficiency, comfort, look.
I am thinking about:
Kosei K4R 16s (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...kageFlow=false) and
Michelin Premier 185/55 (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Qty=4&i1_Qty=4)
I chose the Kosei because it's got a narrower width (at 6.5) allowing me to run 185s and not worry about the possible rub from other combos (17x7 205, 16x7 205). It's 45mm offset x 6.5J almost perfectly compares to the stock 50mm off x 6J.
There weren't lots of choices in the 185/55R16 size, and that one seemed to be the best. I live in Florida, and highway drive a lot.
Before pulling the trigger I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.
Rough estimates are that it'd be about a 3-4 lb weight reduction from stock. Wondering how much MPG that is going to equate to. I'll update with findings as accurate as possible.
