I have always felt the down shifts more in this car than others that I have owned. It may be due to the light weight of the car, and thus it is more easily slowed. It also may be that this tranny shifts quicker than others also. This is a fully electronic controlled tranny, and I think it shifts both up and down faster than most other autos.
