vendor prices

vendor prices

why are the vendors so reluctant to post prices on the threads? just curious cuz i seem to have to pm the vendors about pricing

Rules for the forum state:

3) No price quotes on the forum. MSRP price quotes are allowed.

i wonder why? i wonder why? its not like prices are subject to change from one customer to another

it keeps vendor price wars from happening on the forums. i understand the idea and i support it but at the same time it does create the hassle of pm'ing the vendor. but then at the same time you can see who cares about answering their pms(thereby seeing who cares about your business)

besides, vendors can always list prices on their websites.
