I am pending our tester's review and I will register vendor status for an initial group buy. Could anybody point me out the link toward vendor's registration?

Tks

I am not at all far from Houston and would be happy to make my car available for testing purposes.... I would like to personally see if it would be able to help me get back to my pre super charger mileage figures as well as the quicker throttle response when I feel like acting crazy out on the less travelled back roads.

Get well soon Chris. Have you had any experience with the other brand throttle controllers to compare this one against??

Thanks sir! I am still actually sick but I will live. I have driven a car with the blitz so yes i can compare it.

SO ON TO THE GOOD STUFF:

Model Specific Harness

Everything plugged in to the main unit.

Ok so I ran into a little snag, I actually need the Civic harness for MY car. But lucky for Fit Freak I was able to get this Installed on my friends GE Yesterday! Installation was extremely easy! Main harness gets plugged in in between the pedal plug. And then the other large plug goes into the diagnostic port. Total installation time was less than 5 minutes. Longest part of installation is figuring out here you want to mount the control unit.

I drove the car around for a bit testing out the settings. The unit is very easy to use! And can feel a noticeable difference jumping around from normal to eco to sport.

Someone asked about comparing this to the other throttle controllers out there. I have tried the blitz before, and this works exactly the same. If you didnt see the units and just drove the car you wouldn't notice one is a $300+ throttle controller and the other is a much more affordable one. The unit is definitely worth it and a great mod to any Fit whether its stock, modded, boosted etc.

I just cant wait to get the correct harness for MY car so I can get into a real extensive writeup on this product with installation pics.

Just for future reference, Chris has 08 GD3 L15 which uses the same connector as 8th Civic.

So do you leave it plugged in to the diagnostic port at all times or is that just for programming?

Yes, plugged in all the time. Because OBDII port is physically providing the power necessary for the device.

Do you have any plotted curves? I'm interested in seeing the real difference between the modes.

I'm interested in the device, it seems like it might actually be usable.

You have units available for GD and GE?
Also, what happens if the OBD connector is disconnected? Does it function like stock, or what?

There has to be 16 people here that can appreciate all that this little jewel can do to enhance whatever kind of driving you are in the mood for, especially for $130.00 shipped to the lower 48..... If we have 16 buyers in the group and can get that price you guys sitting on the fence not totally sure about it that make up your minds too late will be paying more when you do and think about money saved in eco mode on fuel in addition to having a throttle that completely opens in sport mode and does so with much quicker response..... You northerners can benefit a lot on the ice and snow in eco mode and possibly not get into situation where you get stuck or worse..... If you have to let someone use your car and don't want it driven fast or abused hiding the unit under the dash in eco will insure they can't drive faster than you would like...... If for no other reason buy one to help me save $20.00 dollars.... It would help me out a lot when my wife starts her nit picking about what I spend on my car and your good deed would bring you good karma and be extremely appreciated.
