I didn't bother to hook up the reverse cancel harness but haven't had any problem reversing in SP5 (no need for SP7). The wire for the reverse cancel is there (short little red pigtail that you can extend with the extra wire in the box); you just have to find out where to tap from. I'm guessing the reverse light circuit would be a good place to start but I haven't verified this yet. If I find some time I'll go ahead and post a DIY but don't hold your breath

LoL I guess I can just scrap the reverse harness idea. I wasn't sure if there's that much of an effect on reverse (assuming that it would just jump out in reverse). Thanks for the answer!

Sounds cool, but still WAAY overpriced for what actually goes into making this.
