Awesome product! The only thing that I do not like is that the control does not save your setting when you turn off the car. Other than that I can tell a big difference between EC and SP.

Safety Concern!!!

Since we got a few reports that ppl launched at their driveway on SP7 and caused some damage. We had to change the programming to make the kit back to normal mode everytime the engine is turned off.

Sincerely,
Panson

Mine does not revert back to normal after the car is shut off. When I get back in and start the car it stays on the setting that I last set it at.

Mine stays the same too. And I can't see launching my car into anything with this thing on. There will always be idiots I guess.

Thinking of buying one...

The less time that you spend thinking of buying one will be time spent enjoying it.

So does it save the last setting only for a short time after shutting the car off or does it save it until the next day?

I'm hearing two stories it does and doesn't??

To make it clear, the new kit (reprogrammed) will revert back to normal after turning off the engine because of safety concern.

We do get complaint reports (almost going to court for ppl launching at their driveway and nearly hit somebody)

Sincerely,
Panson

I know for mine it stays on the setting I last set it at. Its always on "SP3" for me and it nevers goes back to "Nor" unless I push it. I don't know about other units but I can confirm mine does.

One advantage to having the controller return to the normal position is when you allow someone to drive your car when you aren't in it, they will be less tempted to get crazy with it .... Just tell them it is part of the cars security system and to be sure not to mess with it

It is a setting you can setup on it. At least that is how the Pivot one is. You can program to have it go to Normal or stay at the SP4 or > when the car is turned off, if it is SP3 or < it stays put.

Is yours not the same twpanson?

We used to have the kit retain the setting once engine being turned off no matter which setting you were in.

However, to prevent any unwanted damage or tragedy caused by unfamiliarity of our products, we have changed the programming on the kit after February 2010 to make the kit go back to normal mode permanently (after shutting off the engine).

Hope this would clarify the confusion on our kit.

Sincerely,
Panson

What's the final price out of the GB? I'd like to pick up one of these.

Is there a completely linear mode?

Sir, you've got a pm.

There are total 12 steps to choose from. I believe you would find one that fits your appetite.
