its only a thought.... we need more people to join in. i tried talking to this old guy who owned a new fit but he was not into cars what so ever. bummer guys with walkers wont even come to our meets

 

i've spotted a few white FITs, new and old versions that are lightly modded, but it seems like they dont do forum chat or meets, that's sucks!

 

Hey guys, what's up? I live in Seattle and my girlfriend has an '07 base Fit and I joined to learn more about her car. I'm trying to get her to do some mods to the car but at the moment she is really set on getting some sport wheels. Just thought I would finally introduce myself after lurking in the shadows all this time.

I'll see if I can get my GF up for it. I have taken her to a couple of my Acura Legend meets and she was bored out of her mind! But then again we drove and stood around for 9 hours just talking about cars. How many members do you guys usually have at these meets?

 

There's about 3 to 4 of us that meet up each time. Sometimes we have more members but the majority of the time was 3-4.

I might be down for a meet depending on what day.

Thinking about picking up the hks exhaust and prm intake from the guy in Canada.

that's what happen when i bring mine to dc5 meets before, she rather sits in the car, then FIT meets, she hasnt really gone to one, and i hardly make it out there, i may try to go to one this time! with my trashed up FIT...so many things inside!

 

prm intake has a good reputation. the hks exhaust is just based on sound since it doesnt give much power. i didnt know prm built a ge8 intake.

 

I talked to her and she said she would love to go to a meet, see what mods people do to fits. Finally taking an interest in her car!

 

Yeah I really just want the intake.

Lets find out what days work best for everyone so we can have a meet.

 

would maybe saturday the 21st of november work for anyone? that gives plenty of time for us to plan this out.

btw we typically meet in the ikea additional parking garage since we cant plan for the weather and rain is most likey the forecast.

if you guys want, the friday, the 20th, my other buddies are having a go-kart meet at sykart down at tukwila, you guys wanna join? is at 7pm. 16 bucks per race, i forgot how much it is for renting the helmet and linen for face protect. if not, then, do the saturday thing! if i am not working that afternoon, i'll to make it out there!

 

that weekend is completely shot and busy for me.

I'd be down for sunday the 14th @ ikea if thats alright... if not, i guess i'll be a no show.

 

eh... maybe november wont work then..... guess it will have to be december.

 

dont cancel the meet cause i can't show. i might be able to make it... maybe we could hold it closer to tacoma.

 

I'm pretty busy this month so I don't know I will be able to show up. Hopefully we can get something going for January since I will have my throttle controller by then and will be able to play with it.

 

throttle controller huh? that will be interesting. im looking at getting one of those for my bike. only a quarter turn will be full throttle......

 

I think i will place an order next week so I should have it by our meet. It will be nice for some spirited driving.
