a tattoo artist from around here brought his frontier into the shop for me to just change the oil on it and under the hood was two jars of water with lines going everywhere haha come to find out it was a homemade water system..
Guys.. It CAN'T work. The electricity it takes to hydrolize water into h2 and o2 is orders of magnitude higher than what you get when you burn hydrogen. Just look it up in any highschool chemistry book.
Doing this mod will only serve to make your fit less efficient.

yeah actually I was just watching that episode. It didn't work. But that's not a surprise. I've seen this on dozens of car forums, and some people defend it zealously. If you just read ONE chem book you'll know why it CAN'T work.. Just read the wikipedia entry if you don't have a chem book.
Sorry if I seem a little worked up over this topic, I've spent way too many posts on other forums explaining why this can't work, and it all fell on deaf ears. There's more than one reason I sold my Firebird, and that thread was a part of it.

Yeah that's pretty cool! Too bad it clogs your fuel filters in a few miles... Still really awesome!
Imagine pulling up to the mc donalds drivethrough... "I'd like a number 2, no pickles, and all your fry oil, please."
you can harvest the oil from the restaurants and then build a home filtering station. it actually works really well if you filter the waste vegetable oil (WVO) first.
There's an old diesel Volvo I see every once in a while around town. Has a big sticker about vegetable oil on the back window. I got behind her once and it smelled like bad burger king haha
Its gobbledegok. What they want to do is break down water molecules into hydrgen and oxygen and use the hydrogen as fuel. The problem is the energy it takes to separate hyogen from oxygen, one of the tightest molecules in the universe. you'll use a lot more energy breaking water molecules than you'll ever get bacjk by putting them back together.
