The other day, my ScanGauge flickered twice and went out. Plugging it in again or restarting the engine would get it to display again, but only for about 7 seconds and then it would flicker twice and go out again. It also quit displaying GPH and all functions calculated with that value.
I contacted Linear Logic via email and Scott asked a few questions and he had me try a few things and note the results, including trying it on another car. He determined that mine appeared to be defective. He said they would send me another one and mine could go back in the same box. As I was at work, and would not be home until the 26th, I asked if that presented any problems and said no, he would delay shipment so it arrived at home close to the 26th.
It was there when I arrived home. I did the swap; now I just have to recalibrate the new one. The defective one is in the box and goes back to Linear Logic tomorrow. I was more than a little bit irked when mine quit, but these folks run first rate customer service! Thanks guys!
