the dot on the Fit and the dot on the Jazz are different in size..
so u may want to get the red dot from the Fit badge
which is sold in japan
the fit is known as jazz outside of japan besides NA

I saw on collegehills the jazz emblems and the red comes with the chrome emblem and the blue with the brushed aluminum. What is on the NA fit? Is it chrome or brushed aluminum?

JDM emblems and coin holder

Just got my shipment from AJR, excellent vendor..

Before emblem install:

After emblem install:

JDM coin holder installed:

--------------

A few comments about the emblems..

I used:

EP3 front red emblem
DC5 rear red emblem

the front one is about 1cm too small all around, I wasn't sure if there was another one that would fit better, but you won't notice it until you get reallly up close

the rear one is perfect sized

in both cases, the pegs from the JDM one don't line up with USDM (in my case, Canadian) cars.

for the front, I used a small screwdriver wrapped with a shop towel and slowly pop it out, it came out pretty easy, no tape is used in the factory install. Then I used a pair of cutters and took out the peg right from the JDM emblem. Then I took the dremel and remove the two nipples that is left over when on the grill. If you don't take out these two nipples, the emblem will not sit flush with the grill.. you can dry fit it first and you will know exactly what i mean.

for the rear, it's a different story. It took me and my mechanic about 1 hour to just remove the factory emblem. the peg was stuck in the body pretty good and the way there is a "lip" around the emblem, meant that we had to be extra careful not to scratch the paint. we ended up using our spare credit cards as "paint guards" for our small screwdriver and putty knife (put them under the screw driver and putty knife to protect your painted "lip" around the emblem) and we worked the two pegs back and forth and EVENTUALLY it will snap.. we cleaned off the remaining peg sticking out of the body with a dremel. the JDM emblem again has two pegs that won't fit.. the white pegs you can pull out with a pair of pliers, the remaining nipple, work it the same way as the front, sand them flush with a dremel.

total time spent: 1.5 - 2.0 hours, less if you just snap the stock emblems instead of removing it like i did

--------------

jdm coin holder.. remove the blank switch plate and just install it.. 30 seconds

Actually, there's a much simpler method of removing the rear badge.

If you look under your rear boot handle, there's a small gap. Between that gap you should be able to see the 2 pegs that hold the badge inside.

All you need is a ruler with the little hole in it (which is normally used to hang rulers up in the shop) and then hook it and then pull down with enough force and the peg should snap off

Yeah I didn't know about it either until my friend did it on his 1.4 iDSi. He was just washing his car one day and notice that there was a gap between the rear handle and the panel.

He got his badges changed recently.

looks pretty cool!(i havent seen how these badges attach but i know that on older model Hondas..ive always used dental floss to get behind the emblem and then pull it off..if it was on there pretty good this method may not have worked)

the stock emblems weren't taped to the body like the older hondas

both front and back were held on by the pegs.. and the back was a son of a biatch to get out

Looks good!!

The coin tray was easy peasy to install....just be glad we have the fuse box there otherwise it might not have been!! I've been thinking about replacing the rear emblem, but then again, i'm worried that it'll just tempt someone to rip it off!!

Heh! Our Forester has a storage spot there, but it has a flip-down door... I completely forgot about all the atomic fireballs we put there until I opened it the other day. Great for "secret eating" (points if you name where the quote is from!)

The red emblems look great, BTW! Those should look slick on silver and black Fits, too.

Even though I probably wouldn't use it, I just love that JDM coin holder!

as you can see, i already got coins in there

i find that if you put the coins down under, you have to reach down and sometimes at hard cornering, they "jump" out

it stays pretty well in the coin holder
