Thanks,

yup, break them. don't be scared to slap the butt of the driver hard so that the tip of it breaks the pins. it's a very simple process and you won't mess anything up as long as you're carefull.

all you need is a heat gun and/or blow dryer and just heat up the emblem. (they are taped on) then, VERY carefully, use a NEW razor blade (AT YOUR OWN RISK) and gently cut one corner off of the emblem between the emblem and the trunk. After you cut enough for your hand to grab on to, SLOWLY peel teh emblem off. Then just take some cleaner and take off the residue. I did this with my 4Runner and it took about 2 minutes. If you are using a heat gun, DO NOT heat up the paint. Keep the blow dryer/heat gun CONSTANTLY moving!!!

Where 2 get Jdm emblem

getting this post straight, in ebay theres a sale for "red dot fit emblem" but the guy told me its aftermarket and not "jdm". To my understanding, in Japan it comes like this factory. Anyone knows where I can get this, or is it really an aftermarket emblem?

idk about the front one but the rear would be eazy, just pop off the stock emblem, trace around it, then find some vinyl in whatever color you want, and cut out a piece the size of the emblem, then just stick it on under the emblem, you can peel it back off anytime you want to, and it shouldnt cost more than a few bucks. the front is a different story, you probably would have to remove the chrome H, tape off and paint the black plastic behind it whatever color, then pop the H back on it.
