Zymol Cleaner Wax

Someone recommended I try Zymol Cleaner Wax on my Fit to protect my paint because it doesn't have harsh chemicals and relies on natural ingredients. I ordered mine off Amazon.

I was so impressed with the final result I thought it was worth sharing with other Fit Freaks. The Fit is... like a little red mirror.

Here are a few snapshots...

was trying to take a picture of a little spider who was tasting the coconut oils but the camera kept auto focusing further out because it was so reflective.

becareful with cleaner wax because it usually contains abrasives. might want to use that no more than 2x a year.

good job.

Zymol cleaner wax is made by turtle wax by the way. The real zymol wax's cost in the thousands of dollars and still cant compete with wax's below $100.

If your looking to buy locally I highly suggest you go to discount auto parts and try to find a tan bottle called Meguiars professional #21 or #26. Those are the best products that can be bought locally IMO.

Thanks, I've been trying to learn more and more about proper paint care and you seem to know you stuff from other threads I've read. I'll give Meguiars a shot.

I have a friend that swears by zymol. His cars look great after a wax with it. I havent used it personally but it seems to work pretty well.

Do a search on any detailing forum and see what the professionals say about zymol.

qbmurderer13, I followed your signature and starting looking at all your threads...

From now on I'm listening to you. I'll try to piece together all the different products you use.

I guess my biggest question is, since the car has just over 1k miles on it the paint is still pretty new... so i won't be worried about removing swirls...
What should I do to protect the paint. A lot of your threads are cleaning up damaged paint, but what are the steps for maintaining/protecting the paint while avoiding products that could contain abrasives.

I've got some websites bookmarked and am still reading/learning but any advice from someone with your experience would be helpful.

A local body shop owner and motorcycle custom car builder swears by Zymol..... What I found to be cool about it is that when you've polished it out, spraying a light mist of water over the finish and wiping it down increases the gloss like spit shining shoes with Kiwi polish. I have been using the same bottle for 3 years.

The best thing you can do for your car is to learn how to properly wash it. Swirls are caused by improper washing techniques and most people are so oblivious to the damage theyre doing and swear all they products they use are the best.

I highly recommend you read this article over and over. Car Wash Guide, Car Wash how to - easy steps to shampoo and dry your vehicle using paint-safe mitts and towels, plus sponges, the Grit Guard and

Also make sure you always have some sort of protection on your car, and make sure you use the right wash products to assure you dont remove your wax everytime you wash the car.
Car Wax & Paint Sealant Application Techniques, how to apply wax & paint sealant by hand or polisher, how to apply wax, how to wax a car

Also to people referring to zymol please be specific. The teal colored bottle you find at walmart labeled zymol is NOT authentic zymol. It is made by TurtleWax. The authentic Zymol waxes can only be found their website and has gotten less than favorable results when compared to the prices.

Official Zymol Website - Home

One of the countrys top detailers did a side by side comparison on a car and it took to a detailers meet. One side was done with P21s 100% wax, which is a $50 wax, the other side was done with Zymol Royale - ZYMOL ROYALE GLAZE 44 oz

About 80% of the countrys top detailers at this meet chose the side with the P21 100%. To this day P21s 100% is one of the top waxes and also at a great price. I highly recommend it.

P21S 100% Carnauba Wax is P21S's first car wax made with pure carnauba wax, no other waxes. P21S pure carnauba car wax, P21s car wax, P21S carnuba

I use the Zymol QD, car shampoo, and wax, and the thing that i like most is the smell. It also provides a good shine to my white car.
