Oil smell at Idle

I drove about 15 miles towards the beach and when I hit a red light, I smelled oil. Vents were set to 1 with Fresh air. No a/c. I thought it was the car in front of me, but when I drove through a few more lights and approached another red light, I smell a tiny bit of oil for a second or two and it was gone.

Now, earlier in the day, I had checked my dipstick and may have had two to three drops onto the engine, but now I'm starting to worry if this could be a bad seal or seepage. Have you guys noticed the same thing? I will have to wait till morning to inspect the underside seal as well as the top engine seals.

God I hope this isn't a start of a defective car. First with the paint peeling on some cars, now this.

I have only 1050 miles on it and have never even gone beyond 80 MPH on it.

Probably oil from manufacture burning off of the exhaust piping. Nothing to worry about if it goes away.

Good news. I don't smell it anymore

I inspected all areas and didn't find a single leak (thank god!).
