T1R Test-pipe Rattle

I installed a T1R test pipe some time ago. For a while it worked just fine except for the CEL coming on despite the CEL fix i have installed. Recently it started making a rattleing sound if i get above maybe 4k rpm. It is VERY annoying and just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this or if anyone has any ideas of what it may be. Really do not want to pay $6 to put it up on the lift(at the hobby shop on base) unless i have a good feeling i can fix it. Also, does anyone know if our o2 sensor has enough slack in the wire to add another cel fix?

Hey there,

Try checking if the 02 sensor is loose. If it is loose, it may cause a rattling sound and the CEL issues. Let me know how that works out.

Regards,

Jason @ AJR

Nick, if the GE b-pipe is anything like the GD b-pipe you wont even be removing your o2 sensor. Most b-pipes,if not all, start AFTER your cat so you wont throw any codes. But if you get the test pipe yes, you would need a CEL fix.

Np man. The b-pipe is the missing link for those of us that dont have many options for a full cat-back. The b-pipe connects your muffler(axle-back) to your cat.

Hey,

Sorry for the late reply. And no you will not need to get the 02 fix as stated by Nighthawk_GD3.

Let me know if you guys need anything, send me a PM or give me a shout!

Regards,

Jason @ AJR
