Good search.....I'm really looking forward of it. I just want to know what unit that they use?? Is Honda going to produce their own brand Nav or they just produce a small version of factory nav for the car. If they are good I will get away my crazy Nav to get a Honda OEM Nav.
Dunno, but why go through that hassle when you can suction mount it on your windshield. That way if some thief decides to steal it, they won't break the interior dash covering in the process.

The line drawings in the College Hills installation instructions make it look exactly like my Garmin nuvi 350, based on the shape of the device and its mounting bracket. Right now I have mine glued to the dashboard just to the right of the instrument cowling, very close to where this kit would put it. I'd be reluctant to drill holes for something that I might want to replace in a few years, but I wouldn't mind having the wiring concealed.
The image they are using of the actualy unit in thier diagrams looks exactly like my Garmin Nuvi 360. The 350 also is the same shape. I would totally get one of these kits if it would charge my nuvi without having to use the obnoxious 12v adapter that came with it.
It is a Garmin. I have the Nuvi 660 and agree that a dash install would be MUCH cleaner. I'm sure it charges but what I don't know is whether it has stereo audio output. Right now I play mp3s through a 3.5-3.5mm cord. It would be great to get both cables out of sight.
I just don't like where they put it, on the instrument console. I'd prefer centered above the AC vents.
