24 hour clock?
Hi,
I've searched this forum without luck, looked in the owner's manual, and also tried Google, but haven't found an answer to this question . . .
Is there any way to set your USDM Fit's clock (which is part of the radio) to show 24 hour time?
My husband has a 2005 Elantra GT, and on the Elantra club forums someone posted the two buttons you need to push (simultaneously) to get the clock to show 24 hour time (aka military time). So I got to wondering if you could do the same with Honda clocks, specifically the one in the radio for the Fit. (I tried to find out if I could do this on my previous car, a 2001 Accord, which had a separate clock, without any luck.)
Do those of you in Malaysia, the PI and Norway have (Honda) clocks that show 24 hour time? Does anyone know if there is some combination of buttons I can push to get the clock to show 24 hour time?
I've just gotten used to using 24 hour time - on my computer and phone, unfortunately, it seems like you can't get 24 hour time alarm clocks in the US. I just find it more convenient, and you also can't mess up by setting an alarm for 7 PM (1900) when you wanted to set it for 7 AM (0700). Most of the world uses it, so I am thinking that there is some (non-invasive) way to get the clock in my Made-in-Suzuka Fit to show 24 hour time!
