Help?

So i got my new stereo/dvd and i will be installing it this or next weekend. I have no issues with a regualr install, but this one.

I bought it with the video bypass module and have NEVER done that part before. For the Alpine, it says to pulse the common (brown) wire 3 times. WTF is pulsing? Also, in the in the instructions, it talks about e-brake wires and such. Damn, I am even getting lost typing about this for help. Basically, if anyone has done the video bypass before, is it as difficult as i am making it out to be?

Any hints or tips are appreciated!

Total guesing but sound like the e brake wire need to see ground then unground and grounded again. WHat I did on my old unit was attached the e brake wire to a switch that was grounded.Toggle the switch a few time and I can watch dvd while the car is moving.

wiifit is an unknown quantity at this point
attach to ground

I too was confused when they wanted me to hook up the video bypass wire to the e-brake wire. What I did was hook the wire to the ground wire (black wire). That should solve the video bypass problem. As for pulsing the brown wire, I have no idea...
