?How to wire Clarion wiring harness to play DVDs while driving

I was reading the manual and was wondering how to wire the parking break wire for it to play dvd's without having the parking break pulled up.. and from my understanding if i just leave it alone the DVD player would never be able to play right????

I did a search on it on this forum and couldn't find anything.. oddly... i did a google search and perhaps iam not using the correct key words.

also... on the wiring... "Reverse Gear" i just don't plug that into anything right? does that just warn you when you are going in reverse??? i drive a manual anyways so i don't think theres a notification wire for going in reverse.

and "PHONE interrupt" the brown wire.. that goes into nothing as well right?? i plan on using the blue tooth feature of this headunit.. but iam guessing that has nothing to do with this wire at all.. because the blue tooth phone stuff is all internal.

and just to verify this is correct... even the grounding wire goes on the black adapator kit right? because the one on the clarion wire doensn't exactly look like something to strip... unless i cut off that fork looking thing and wire it like all the rest of the wires.

will it work the same on me? when you mean ground it, you mean wire it into the black line? of the adapter harness? i was thinking about maybe wiring the harnesses together today, so i wanna make sure.

i was also going to wire the black wire with the fork on it from the clarion into the black wire of the harness.. but that involves me cutting off the metal fork... am i supposed to do that?
