so like in the past 12 threads iv posted lol im installing my dnx8120 and now i need some help wireing the wire for the dvd to the parking break light. i need to know how to bypass it so i can use the DVD player wail driving can somone let me know if thay have any idea how to do this and i really dont wanna by a bypass kit from online i dont wanna wait LOL.

 

that wire that goes to the parking brake light is just looking for ground....ground the wire and it will work while driving....light green wire correct?

 

are you 100% sure or are are you going by what other units do? im just woundering why thay sell bypass thing online and there just a switch or somthing will it hurt to just have it ran to the remote wire?

 

just ground the light green wire on a kenwood.that is all

 

ok now thats what i was looking for see everyone was tel me to groud it i just wasent sure or not. thanks alot i was just getting ready to dot this in a little bit ill have to post up some pics i might even do a DIY on it on how to take the unit out and everything since noone has done one yet.

 

I'd be really interested in a DIY as I just bought the DNX5120 and will be installing in my 08' probably next week. What kit etc. did you buy?
