Help with custom AUX port

Someone please help me here... I bought this part at radio shack and i'm trying to figure out if it will work with the DIY that smeister and others created but i cannot figure out the correct wire configuration and where the lead to on the B connector.. Please help

I used the exact same radio shack product for my DIY AUX.
I believe that you only need to connect 3 of the 5 pins (left, right, ground) to the head unit for it to work.

If I remember correctly, I think the pins goes:

1 - ground
2 - right channel
5 - left channel
