Should I? Yes or No

So, I want to add a touch of bass to my Fit without taking up that much room. Also, I want to keep the stock head unit. So, I'm thinking about getting the Infinity Basslink II: Infinity BassLink II - Powered Subwofer System • 250 Watt RMS Amp • 10" Square Subwoofer • 10" Passive Radiator • 4-Channel Inputs • Variable Bass EQ • Remote Bass Level Control • Expansion Slot for BassLink 4sc Multichannel Amplifier - , Enclosed Su

It has an option to add on an extra amplifier for your speakers as well: Infinity BassLink 4SC - 35W x 4 (at 4 ohms), 50W x 4 (at 2 ohms) power amplifier that slots loads directly into the BassLink II. Coupled with the BassLink II, the 4sc will deliver real power to your front speakers and rear speakers - , Car Amplifiers

Do you think I should do it?

uch better than a basslink in terms of sound quality. Can't compare an inespensive powered sub to a good quality sub with a good amp. As far as space and quality with modeate output, the bazooka's outperform a basslink, or kenwoods powered box any day of the week. an Alpine L.A.T5 or L.A.T 7 would sound better and have more output..but at that price it's kinda rediculous

I'm just trying to get something that doesn't take up much room. If I have to go the separate sub/amp way, I will. Your thoughts?

I, and some others who have wanted to do exactly what you're wanting, have been reasonably pleased with the performance of the Audiobahn powered tube subwoofers (do a search for the ATB10AT install thread). Same concept as the Bazookas with easy installation, decent sound, low pricetag, and easy removal or reorientation if necessary should you need the space back temporarily. It also accepts speaker-level inputs, so you wouldn't need to add a line-out converter if you don't wish to do so. I do like the Basslinks as well, but they're a bit more expensive (not significantly so, granted) and I had no intentions of making use of the add-on amplifier capability of the II.

For sound quality, the adage that holds true for engines is also true for your low-end...there's no replacement for displacement, and true quality costs money. If you're wanting to keep it small and inexpensive, though, the tubes are a nice upgrade as long as you aren't thinking that you'll be turning neighbors' heads or the talk of the block. Same can be said of Basslinks.

LOL... Audiobahn... Audiobahn is garbage never have the true watts thay say sound is not even good. If you want somthing small run Memphis there amps are all true wats, small and sound is awsome just run a 1100d amp on 1 12" M3 it will not take up any room and give you that little bump you looking for..... and then more. but again Audiobahn is really not somthing to look into for car audio, yes thay may be a big name like LEGACY,PYRAMID, sony even just cuz the cools kids all have them and thay sell at wal-mart dosent mean there good.
