in dash dvd player install

i just got a jvc kd-av 7010 from my friend that came with no cables or wiring or anything right now i am purchasing the wires and everything and the din and was wondering if anybody has done an install by them selves in the fit it has a main receiver and a thing i think called the brain which you mount somewhere eklse i thiink anybody give me any tips on the install or writeups or anything i looked on here but only saw a couple things thanks guys

never installed one of those, but the "brain" you can probably put either behind the glovebox, or under the dash on the drivers side. I'd assume other than the its the typical kind of wiring. Attach the JVC harness to an aftermarket Honda harness, then plug it all in. if thats like other JVC units, it will have a green wire that you are supposed to hook to the emergency brake to watch movies, but all you really need to do is ground that wire and you can watch any time you want, not that I would recommend playing something while driving since its highly illegal and dangerous.
