red steering wheel emblem

i thought of something similar to that. i was going to buy a milano red scratch repair pen ( you can get one at auto zone for like 6 bucks around here ). thats what i used to fill the h's in my old accords center caps. but id prefer a genuine honda part before making an attempt at the paining my wheel.

has anybody here used this, i would like to know what you think, i even went as far as to read the installation instructions to see it in better detail, it doesnt look bad, but i know theres a real one somewhere.

ha! i didnt even think about that. well i guess its a chance im willing to take. and if it doesnt kill me i'll be branded for life. how much harm could it cause? its just a piece of vinyl.

i had a plastic chevy bowtie on my old s-10's steering wheel and when i took it to my dealer, they said that the way the steering wheel splits during airbag deployment, the emblem would stab me straight in the forehead.
i have no airbag in the drivers side of my fit. i figure id rather knock out my front teeth than have a m-1000 blow up in my face. teeth are easier to fix than 3rd degree burns are.

with the kit they are talking about you dont have to remove the emblem, check the website on the post above and look into the install instructions.

my airbag broke my sternum (and possibly one or two ribs)
from personal experience the emblem (from my crash as well as my friends) the emblem is still attached but on just one of the flaps. If it was a real danger (factory)it would not be there. Aftermarket or messing with
it...idunno...either it wont do a darn thing (like most stockers) or it
would effff ya up!
ugh...bad memories....ugh....
