My SFF Build!

-Sick F***in Fit-

Ok, so some of you may have read where I was thinking of selling my car. I talked to one of my best friends today, and he convinced me to keep it and just get sick with her. I've been going back and forth with him on some idea's, the only thing I'm still deciding on is the JDM front pretty much, and a few minor motor details. Anyway, my completion date I'm shooting for is about this time next year. Be prepared for many many updates. I should start ordering my new parts in about a month. Keep my motivation going guys!

-The plans for the car thus far-
-JDM smoked led tails
-JDM 3rd brake light
-JDM Hazard switch
-Mugen window visors
-Jdm front
-Jdm rear
-Mugen rear garnish
-Possible Spoon front calipers depending on wheels
-T1R rear disc conversion
-Upgrade to 10k/12k springs on my t1r setup
-Front and rear sway bars
-Cage(haven't decided on how many pt. yet)
-Gutted
-1-2 seats(either the mugen, spoon(carbon), or memory fab(carbon))
-k20a2(I'm already building this.)
-ERL Sleeves
-12.5:1 C/r (still deciding on bore)
-rods
-Fresh bearings
-Headwork done by Saul Salceda hopefully
-Supertech Springs and retainers
-Ips K2's or KME's
-IPS IM ( I've gotta make this fit Which may keep me from doing the jdm front.)
-Dtr modified header
-CM twin disk FX?00
-Quaffe LSD

There are alot of parts I still have to add to the list. There are still alot of things I'm unsure on, but one thing is for sure, I'm not gonna let stupid things get me down on this build. I love my fit, and I really want to get this project started real soon.

K24 block with a K20 head, and a JRSC. Should be 300whp easy.

DO IT

I'll be making over 260 all motor with the k20. I'm shooting for 280+whp for peak number's, but for track reason's I probably keep it slightly detuned to around 240whp. With mild build k24 setups we've made 280-290 all motor. rbc im, ips k2 cams, and pistons/rods. It made a shit ton of tq though. I believe around 224 tq. We'll see how she feels on the track when it's all said and done, but there is a long way to go!

Haha. Definitely man. One question to those who may have seen some of the j's racing or hasport cars. If any of them have the jdm front end, how was the kswap fitment when it came to the front core support? I know there isn't much room as it is, and I hear that the jdm front end is about 6 inches shorter. If I have to stick with the us front, that's fine with me because I like it just as much, but I'd prefer to slap the jdm front on since it's going to be painted.

Thanks red Always good to hear good things. Keeps me motivated! I'm really stuck between the jdm front and the us front. I really love both. Any suggestions?

Isnt the JDM front shorter, creating less space from whats already there? Maybe Im wrong. But I know its already a tight fit from the core support with the intake manifold.

This is what I've been trying to find out. This is why the Jdm front is probably last on my list. I've got to make the IPS mani fit. Or at least try. More power than itb's and definitely easier to tune.

Like your thoughts about the car. But 'Jap' is a pejorative without the period behind it. I'm not calling you a hater just letting you know that haters (and bigots) use that term. Good luck on your machine
