0 offset on a Fit??

Got this crazy idea, and im doing a little research before i buy wheels. Has anyone seen/done 0 offset wheels on a Fit yet?? ive seen 16x8 with 0 offset on DAs, EGs, EFs... just wonder what it would look like on a Fit.

May sound stupid, but after seeing the stance on a few DAs with 0 offset, i find myself very intrigued by it. thanks in advance

Not saying it's impossible. But good luck and let us know how it turns out.

I don't think it will work considering the stock rim on the Fit Sport has a whopping +55mm offset. This means the tires fit inside and under the fenders and don't stick out.

The problem with zero offset is making sure that the tire is small enough not to rub against the inner wheel well edges. If you use the same width rim and tire then the mounted tire sticks out to the outside of the car by about +55mm.

Check out the highlighted red areas. In this picture if the tire remained the same size then it would rub against the inner fender requiring wider fenders or heavy rolling of the fender lip.
