Wiring change question....

Not sure where to put this, but figured this would be a good start. Has anyone changed the wiring to the power outlet so that it is always 'hot'? A few cars I had previous had this, and it comes in very handy for charging things or GPS use. I could probably figure it out with a wiring diagram, but being lazy, thought I would check and see if anyone else has done the legwork on this yet.

all you gotta do is snip the wire and run it to a fuse slot that's always hot. as far as which slot to choose, i'm no help.

fuses are labeled on the panel cover. Just look for one that's always hot.
