How Do You Install Rear Bumper Protector?

I am talking about the black cover that protects the bumper. Is there an adhesive backing?

Installed: Thanks!

Worst part is getting exact measurements and when you get it it's all rolled up. I simply laid it on the hot Florida concrete and it was flat in 3 minutes. Came out almost PERFECT, just a very small touch off but you would never notice. Not a single bubble and it covered the scratch I got at 200 miles. Really a must for anyone actually using the car to shop etc.

Bernardi has PDF files of all the accessory installs taken directly from the Honda manuals. Very clear, step-by-step instructions, with diagrams.

I followed the instructions to the letter and it came out great. The two biggest tips I have are -

1. clean thoroughly to ensure good adhesion - I used car soap solution then isopropyl to get any dirt, sealant and grease off the surface of the bumper. Use a good quality MF cloth to minimize scratching of the bumper.

2. use an erasable marker on the bumper to mark the edges of the protector before gluing it on. You want to make sure you get the protector exactly where you want it.
