Anyone install bumper protectors?
Since my car has been beat up by strangers (rear bumper & fender work commencing Monday) I am thinking of getting those strips you can apply to the corners of your bumper to protect them from getting scratched & dented.
Has anyone installed these? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? I don't know how good/bad these things will even look on my FIT (white FIT, black strips...but maybe the shop can paint them to match the bumper?)
I live in the city where most people think nothing of scraping/denting/hitting your car and driving away. Since I just spent $380 on a new taillight assembly (and the body work has not been estimated yet) I really do not want to go through this again.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated

A little piece of plastic glued onto the existing plastic bumper isn't going to help protect the car against anything but a shopping cart. When the glue deteriorates and the bumper guard falls off it will look even worse.

i am using the bumper armor pad i got 4 years ago for my previous car. it takes up the whole front section of the trunk (the area closest to the gate opening, between the opening and the wheel humps). it works.
strips are ugly and unlikely to be effective.
