installing 3rd brake light

anybody know how to install the led 3rd brake light for the 2009 honda fit sport.

this is just the dissasembly part, doing this from memory so bear with me. and the third brake light you're putting in should be easy to figure out once you have the whole thing apart;
  • open the hatch
  • take the cover off (two little press-in tabs)
  • unplug white connector plug thingy (you can do this later if it's easier)
  • unbolt two 10mm bolts
  • use a small flat head or something to push the two inner clips in (that are going into the mounting hole between where the two bolts were)
  • for the plug - slide the taped wires to the untaped area so you can get it through the open area of the hole (the assembly should be unattached to the car now)
  • press on the two exposed tabs with a small flathead, when you get both unhooked, just push it out and the two on the opposite side (the top) will come undone

i know how to take the assembly off, it's just where do i plug the little circuit board thing in.

lol. thats for the outlet.. basically you turn it vertically and plug it into the slot where you unplugged the original one... no worries I thought the same thing.. if you never get it just pm me. oh wait well actually thats how it works for the 07-08 models... hmm should be that same... i think
