A week ago i placed a deposite at my local dealer(mistlin honda) for a white sport MT Fit, i was told it would take a maximum of 2 months to receive it. Yeah i was down in the dumps and preppared myself for the long wait. On Saturday i got a call from Junior at Lodi Honda, he said they had a silver sport MT and asked if i was still interested in one. Then i remembered that about two months ago, when i was searching for the least inexpensive fit, i placed about 15 price quotes online to different dealers. Well junior said because i placed a quote online with them he can sell it to me for MSRP. I couldnt believe my ears!!! MSRP!Their asking price for the car was $19400! So i called up my dad to meet me at Lodi Honda. Well Junior was really helpful and not pushy at all he helped us through everything and a great person to do business with. they offered us a 7 year/80000 mile Bumper to bumper warranty that was "originally" $2000 to $1300 so we took the deal, but now i think im going to go cancel it though. we paid $18430 off the lot(waranty included).
Conclusion: online and over the phone quotes got me the car for MSRP!
Lodi Honda got an A++++++++++
Oh yeah i for got to talk about the car... well it is more than i expected i love the stereo system, the MT is smooth as glass, i expected the caar to be a slow economy slushbox but i was wrong it really goes, the handling is great, i had to do an emergency lane change on the way home from the dealer and it was great! oh yeah i got 33.5 MPG on my dealer tank!
