Finishing work on a building project this weekend that has been on going since March. So the eg is back as the next project. Have all kinds of cool stuff after the body and paint is done. Surffer Ride is the first theme. With roof racks and a custom painted board. Blades with H center caps and red reflective stripe, for saftey of course :). Lips front and rear, clear corners, red material on the door panels, s.s header with lava wrap, red wrinkle valve cover.

Hello Mike, How are you and your projects coming along? Its been a while and I am busy working. My son is back into working on cars again. Sold the Acura turbo for a 2000 Civic and then sold it for a Integra for the motor. Its a B18C GSR with 170 HP that we shoehorned into a CRX, I believe its a '88. Just waiting on parts to finish it up. Its going to be nice since most of the extra weight is out of the car.

I'm a Lucky Man

Bought a sweet set of 1998 blue confetti Teggy front and rear seats from a fellow I bought my tails and an excellent set of EF sedan door mirrors. He owns a crazy lowered gray EG hatch.
The rear and passenger's seats really are "mint" But the driver's seat had the worn seams at the bottom. So I pulled the skins off, washed the bottom in the washer and it was good to go. The top was a bit more challenging with all the vinyl and zippers. So it was cleaned on the frame.
Wifee to the rescue, man am I a lucky man! She replaced the upper and lower panels with material from the local upholstery store, perfect match. so now it's a 9.9 out of 10 and the set is 9 outta 10 :D

Tonight tonight hot dam tonight!

After installing the seats they made the door panels look their age. We had enough material from the driver's seat for the door panels. So that 5.00 worth of material is really getting around haha.

Crack'n Good Day

Cleaned an extra dash surround and cowling today. Dash has the clock and hazard switch. The cowling had the dead center crack, it's now in the recovery unit in my garage :D.

Viper Red Wagoon

Well how time flies. Haven't done anything to the red EG since last fall when me and my wife refurbished integra seats and door panels.
Well the BPM Fit is now in the hands of a new owners Jason and Lindsay. And what a perfect family for her to go to.

Now it's spring the car account is in the black, so it's time to build my first sports utility vehicle! A surf wagoon :D.
Finish striping the #@%#** plastic dip CRAP off and do the little bit of bodywork that's left.
Then plan out the way to paint the front fenders, hood, and bumpers in the shop & let them cure and roll the rest of her in for a Viper red base/clear urethane coating!

the Viper Red { really close to Milano red } came in today viva Fedx! Getting psyched on how this is going to turn out.
i put a dab on the door edge and the color matches perfectly.
it's a shame none of the ppl my age get excited anymore about car projects, like been there done that.
well i hope it'll be a long long time before that happens to me. i'm just 56 not old at all. my mom's still living by herself and doing very well at 95!
so i figure im still good to go creating car visions for at least 20 more years!

3 day weekend coming up hope to get after the roof and straighten it out.

ordered a new stereo/TV/dvd/usb/w/ rear camera, remote. 200 watts single din with 3.2" screen. have alittle 250 watt fosgate amp and 12" punch woofer for the lows :D.
now I know for the younger guys here it's not much but for an ol dude like me and remembering back to 1978, my 1st system was craig tuner/ cassette and an amp of unknown origin going to a set of 6x9 coaxials .
The equipment now is mind blowing!!
Adding a set of speakers behind the rear panels with a stock look to them.

and if I did my figuring correct the system will be about like the MzFiT's

Well started back on eggy yesterday. Bought 10# of dry ice and shrunk the dents in the roof. OMH the roof looks like the Grand Canyon. Place dry ice on the low spots and slapped from the inside with the palm of my hand.
Best 13.78 I've spent in many a day!

Dry ice on a dented up roof.

This dry ice method pulled about 60% of the dent up..

Patch work

The patches where welded in at lunch by Jimmy. Thsnks to him coming down at 12 the project is staying on track. He doesn't know it yet but I'm taking it to his shop so he can straighten out what another muffler shop did for me.

Then came the cleaning... wheel wells, engine bay, cowl area, hatch & door jambs, everywhere thst is getting taped up is clean.. this makes it so much easier when I put the car back together.

Lil mafia shop's work

Pulled out old cracked seam sealer and replaced w/ new.

My shop runith over with parts!

Added a second horn i pulled off a Isuzu pup.
They are not on the same pitch, very annoying...
PERFECT!

Civic and pup horns now together
