I'm new here and tried to search the forums for air problems and came up with nothing. I keep seeing blower problems with the air only working on high. I've been on here for a few hours reading everything. I joined so I can ask my question. I didn't want to break any rules by starting a new thread. My search has come up with nothing. Please direct me where would be the best place for my question about this Honda Fit 09's air problems.

 

Firstly, you're in the wrong sub-forum. 09 is 2nd gen... which should've been obvious from the sub-forum names (08s are a bit tricky, but 09 isn't).

That said, it has been mentioned in the 09 sub-forum... I know, because I had this problem many years ago, had it replaced under warranty at the time and I complained about it.

The issue is a combination of the resistor pack and blower motor. The resistor pack controls the speed of the blower based on the knob setting. The problematic blowers burn out these resistor packs. Which is why both get replaced, since replacing only the resistor pack will only burn it out again.
