Talking Piston slap explains jumping ignition timing angle on my car

Since piston slap is most pronounced around 1500 rpms, it affects the knock sensor badly, causing retarded timing, increased fuel consumption while driving in the city and annoying part throttle downshifts.

The only difference is the slant "H"... sad!
