Tried searching previous posts for answers but no luck. Feel free to link me to any posts I may have missed!

I have stock HID lights on my 2004 GD3 fit.

Low beam works. But when i flick on to high beam, it works - some times - for short periods.

The high beam indicator on the dash comes on then fades away along with the high beam light. It's only just started happening. Any suggestions?!

so your problem is with your high beam and not your HID low beam? Issue sounds like its come from your stalk.

 

yes correct. Just the high beam. Sorry this may sound dumb, but when you say stalk, are you referring to the stalk of the bulb or?

the headlight switch. Are you pushing it forward until you hear a cick?

 

Yes. Push the headlight switch forward. Clicks. Highbeam indicator on the dash lights up. High beams sometimes come on. Then both the highbeams and the indicator on the dash fade away. And I'm back to low beam
