Is there a difference between automatic and manual radiators
New to me '08 Sport with a manual transmission. Radiator seems to have a slow leak, so I was looking into replacing it. Trying to keep the budget costs down. Looking at the online auto parts places (that begins with rock) a couple of the lists show for automatic transmissions, while others don't designate. Crossed referenced with a couple of the manufacturers and none of the manufacturer sites designate between automatic and manual. Honda has s different part number for each one.
Basically, if I order one and it turns out being for an automatic, would it still fit my manual transmission car? Specifically, does anyone know if the mounting points or hose connections are different between an automatic radiator and a manual radiator?
Thanks.

In my personal experience, the only difference seems to be if you have to hook up transmission cooler lines, as they are shared in the radiator. My pickup truck is a manual, it uses the same radiator as a automatic, you just leave the bungs for the transmission cooler part covered. The Fit service manual only references removal and reattachment of the trans lines if you have an automatic, doesn't seem to call out a different radiator is needed.
Good luck!

As 98Silverado said, you can usually just plug off those lines if you end up with an auto radiator.
Just for your shopping considerations, I see new radiators as cheap as $53 on eBay, $61 on RockAuto, or $250 on HondaPartsNow.

Well, to get it here by the weekend, I pulled the trigger on one from RockAuto. I had paused because some showed "for automatic transmission" so it made me wonder. Kinda figured they'd be the same, but wanted to check with the forum to see if there was something glaringly obvious I may have missed. Glad to know it's just for the transmission cooling and should be able to block them off. It was the difference on the official Honda parts sights that gave me pause.
Thanks a bunch!!
