Spark Plug Gap for 2008 Honda Fit
Hi, I just got a 2008 Honda Fit and am going to be replacing the Spark Plugs on it. I got these Denso Iridium ones.
They are pre-gapped to .40, but the spec calls for .44.
Should I gap them to be sure or just leave it as it is and install them?
Thank You.

Definitely do not open them up. It will run better gapped at .040. The factory spec is a little on the high side IMO. It seems that the plug manufactures agree as pretty much all plugs spec'd for our cars come gapped lower.

You picked an excellent car to start with. GD Fit's are pretty easy compared to other cars and most things are pretty straight forward. Good luck!
