Intake Manifold - EGR Valve Removal?

Hi,
I have a Weapon R Intake Manifold for my '08 Honda Fit.. It has the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor and Brake Booster Vacuum Hose connections.. However it removes the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Chamber and connections...

https://www.carid.com/weapon-r/race-...ingleid=289976

Any idea how this effects emissions? I'm not in California..

Thanks,
Ryan

I would imagine removing the EGR will just make the car a bit less fuel efficient.

How's the car sound with the new intake?

EGR is mostly an emissions control device, it's supposed to reduce NOx by lowering the combustion temperature in the cylinder. How much removing it is going to affect it I don't know, there are claims it can reduce it by 70% when working but who knows. If your emissions are actually measured where you are, you probably wouldn't pass it either way. Mine isn't working and I'll have to fix or eplace it before going for the inspection in a few months.

The new manifold does look thick though, if a bit overkill for a Fit
