What is that under the left rear?

What is that under the left rear?

2008 Fit. Just noticed some part that is on the left side, underneath the car next to the wheel. I don't see one on the right side, but the exhaust is over there. It's raining, or I'd get down there and get a better look. Any ideas? Is it supposed to be there? Thanks!

Never mind. It stopped raining and I got on the ground and looked. It's the coil-spring/shock absorber assembly. It looked weird, and lower than it really is, when it was raining and the car was parked on a slant.
