Would a Japan imported 1.5L engine fit my 2008 engine?

Im looking for a new engine for my 2008 and the site i found a replacement has it fitting a 2007-2008 honda fit which i need, but looking at the engine i see a difference in the intake manifold cover which led me to research and I'm assuming the engine comes from maybe a diffrent year honda fit that wasnt available here in the states. Thanks for any help 🙏

The engine I'm looking at online

JDM Bell Housing doesn't "Fit"

Unfortunately I looked into those motors as well. Unless you want to swap over the transmission "which the Japanese version is a CVT hunk of junk" then you will need to stick to the US L15 engine. The bell housing does not line up correctly with the transmission and engine. I went to a wrecking yard and found an engine with 50k on it and got it for $500. I had the head machined and put in new rings valve seals and all other seals. Now it is installed and it runs great.
