Right side impact sensor (second)

My 2008 Fit Sport SRS light is on, took it to have the shop where they scanned the system. The only fault is No Signal from Right Side Impact Sensor (second). Can anyone help me locate the sensor? I would love to at least clean any corrosion from the connector. Thanks for any help!

I have a 2010 Sport and the SRS sensor is located just in front of the bottom of the seat belt underneath the sill and B pillar trim. I doubt it is any different in a 2008.

Another question please Drew21, the wiring diagrams for both the ‘08 and ‘10 show two Right/Left side impact sensors. Did you happen to see the “second” sensor when you had the interior panels removed? Thanks again!

Your wish, my command...

But first, I delved into my 2009-12 Service Manual. The initial picture I showed you is of the Side Impact Sensor (First). Sorry about that confusion. The picture below is the SIS (Second) that you were asking about. As you might guess, it's just behind the rear door and in front of the "hoop" that the rear seat locks in to (which is removed in this picture). I will also note that the Service Manual makes it clear that all yellow wire connections relate to the SRS system - either sensors or air bag components. In other words, don't mess with them unless the 12v is unhooked.

Let me know if you need directions for removing trim, etc. You have to jump all over the Service Manual (probably more annoying in my PDF than if I had a physical booklet) but I can copy and paste for you, but only because it's almost Christmas.
