I need some help!!!!

This is my first post but I am what you would call a fitfreak creeper. I own a VBP. Im painting the headlights and fog light covers. I found the DIY on it and now i am trying to decide to go semi-gloss or flat black. I know it shouldn't drive me this crazy but it is. HELP!!!!

That's a decision you will have to make on your own. Usually the gloss looks better on a dark vehicle, but you also have to remember that if you clear over it there is a chance that the light would be slightly less visible.

it's a personal preference, but good luck in whatever you choose.

I definitely think you should go semi-gloss on both. I just don't like the look of flat black fogs. I think they look awkward in direct sunlight because they just don't mesh with the black plastic in the lower grille. Actually I really think you should go semi-gloss on the fogs and gloss on the headlights, because I think the super dark headlights contrast better on the VBP. But, its really all up to you.

I happily await your results

Painting...your headlight covers? Maybe I'm not "with it" and "Hip" but this seems like a horrible idea. The Fit headlights are already sorta weak.

Gunmetal never looks bad though.

there's only one way to do it, and that's flat black all the way around.

Thanks everyone for your advice, I think i am def going with gloss on the headlights and flat on the fogs. If i dont like the flat, then I will go with semi. Thanks.

I was going to suggest that you go with WHITE on the headlight assemblies. The owners of -Every- Fit that I've seen with different color headlights all went with black. Why not try something different?

Personally, I think TW headlights would look really good on a VBP or MR Fit... or is it just me?

Especially if you have white rims...I'd like to see that combo.
